Did You Know: State Mottos and Nicknames

Did you know that all 50 States have Mottos as well as Nicknames? Well they do, and some of them might surprise you! For instance, I’m a native Texan and know that Texas is often referred to as “The Lone Star State”. However, I had no idea this was the official nickname of the state! Along with mottos and nicknames, each state has a plethora of unique attributes. Everything from state sports and instruments to state plants and animals!
